Short supply of gloves, be wary of scammers.

A global shortage of medical gloves due to a coronavirus-driven surge in demand will carry over into next year, Malaysia, the world’s biggest gloves supplier, said, warning buyers to be wary of scammers promising quick supplies.
World consumption of the personal protective equipment is estimated to jump more than 11% this year, two thirds of which are likely to be supplied by Malaysia.
As described by The Wall Street Journal on September 15, 2020, “Several large manufacturers have warned customers about fraudulent gloves" and there have been "more than a dozen reports from members about frauds and fake agents seeking to sell gloves, in some cases producing fraudulent letters from the glove manufacturers.”
The "glove manufacturer that produces a brand of nitrile gloves, issued a statement to customers recently warning of such counterfeit versions of its nitrile gloves and fraudulent activity by people impersonating brokers of the company. It said they use counterfeit signatures and boxes with phony labels.”
Buyers are reminded that while glove prices have soared and demand is overwhelming, the industry’s supply is being fully booked until early next year, so, it's good to partner with a supplier you can trust.
